Job Responsibilities
- Regularly meet with new and
existing members to determine needs and create trust to drive engagement
and retention of bank services
- Possess a strong understanding
of products and members’ sense of urgency to create an exceptional
customer experience
- Prepare annual tax returns
(federal and state), file extensions, and amendments for members
- Update member information
including the following:
Personal information
updates
W4 updates
Residency updates
Manage exemptions
updates
W4 updates
Residency updates
Manage exemptions
Input and catalog
member queue for receipts
member queue for receipts
- Participate in tax
interviews/planning calls with members to prepare for upcoming tax season - Assist in identifying
opportunities for business growth, increase member retention, and offer
additional bank products and services - Provide an exceptional customer
experience to members - Perform other duties as assigned
- Leading a team of Tax
professionals
Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S. degree/ CPA
- 2+ years' experience working as
a tax preparer or tax specialist for small business
- Excellent written and verbal
communication skills
- Meticulous organization skills
and attention to detail
- Capacity to work independently
and/or collaboratively with a team
- Desire to thrive in a
fast-paced environment
- Experience with high-touch
customer service - Leading a Team of Tax
