Emerge sponsors Young Entrepreneurs Academy Top 100 CEO Roundtable

Rochester, New York (March 3, 2016) — We were delighted to sponsor the first-ever YEA! Top 100 CEO Roundtable made possible through a partnership between The Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) and Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce. The event took place on Tuesday, March 1, at 6:00 p.m. at the University of Rochester, and brought together students from YEA! and CEOs from elite Top 100 Rochester companies.

The CEOs shared their success stories, advice and answered questions from young entrepreneurs of Rochester. The panelists included:

  • Mark Davitt, President & CEO, ConServe
  • Lauren Dixon, CEO, Dixon Schwabl, Inc.
  • Sitima Fowler, Co-CEO, CAPSTONE Information Technologies Incorporated
  • Randy Henderson, President, Henderson Ford
  • Charles Hilbert, Operating Principal, Keller Williams Realty Greater Rochester
  • Leo Linder, CEO, Emerge
  • Sameer Penakalapati, President & CEO, Avani Technology Solutions, Inc.

The event was free and open to the public. Students from the 2015-2016 Rochester Young Entrepreneurs Academy classes listened carefully and asked questions as they prepare to pitch and launch their own, real businesses in the YEA! class. This is the first year that YEA! and the Chamber of Commerce have partnered on such an event; as well as bringing in the Top 100 CEOs.

Our CEO, Leo Linder, was selected to be one of the participants on the panel and shared these remarks:

I’m thrilled to be a part of such an inspirational event for our local entrepreneurs and future CEOs, These students have the world at their hands and I’m honored to be among the professionals who can encourage and give them the confidence to take their ideas to the next level. —Leo Linder
