Job Duties for the 1st Shift Production Supervisor in Rochester, New York:

• Observes and coordinates activities of production workers in manufacturing product by performing the following duties personally or through the production team:
• Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, co-workers, supervisors/managers, and all other employees.
• Responsible for adhering to maintaining all ISO 9001 procedures and requirements of the Production function and department. This includes having active participation in the internal and external audits for the Rochester division, when necessary.
• Inspects products to verify conformance to Quality Plan specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines.
• Enforces working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with company policy and safety standards.
• Resolves production issues or confers with the Supervisors, Plant Superintendent or Director of Manufacturing on unsettled grievances for action.
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems and assists workers in solving work problems.
• Involved in the employee performance review process and employee discipline as needed.

Job Requirements for the 1st Shift Production Supervisor in Rochester, NY:

• Associates Degree OR 3 years of Production Supervision experience.
• 3 years of industrial manufacturing experience in a NON-UNION company.
• Microsoft Outlook experience.
• Ability to lead and manage teams.
• Abilit to train and develop teams.
• Ability to do formal employee performance reviews.
