Emerge is actively recruiting for multiple B and C Shift CNC Lathe Manual Machinists in Rochester, NY. Our client is a high precision machine shop that has been in business for decades. The CNC Milling Machinists will report directly to the Manager of the department and offer a generous hourly rate, overtime, excellent benefits, 401K and room for advancement. The CNC Lathe Manual Machinists will be responsible for performing operations needed to manufacture components. The CNC Lathe Manual Machinists will also be responsible for running CNC and Manual Equipment and preventative maintenance. Job Duties for the CNC Manual Lathe Milling Machinists in Rochester, NY:

• Effectively managing tooling (holders, inserts, fixtures)
• Performs operations needed to manufacture components
• Run CNC and Manual Milling Equipment
• Perform basic daily maintenance on work centers
• Commitment to keeping a neat and organized work area
• Develop specifications from simple and complex blueprints, or hand sketch simple parts on paper
• Adherence to all safety requirements including proper use of PPE
• Willingness to work overtime to maintain customer requirements

Job Requirements for the CNC Lathe Manual Machinist Rochester, NY:

• High School Diploma
• 2-5 years of machining experience on HORIZONTAL and VERTICAL CNC Milling equipment
• Ability to monitor fixturing and work holding methods
• Capability to edit offsets at the machine to maintain tolerance of parts
• Fanuc and Haas Control knowledge a plus
