$3,000 sign on bonus! Emerge is currently recruiting qualified candidates for direct hire CNC Operators Job near Winsted, CT for our client, a growing manufacturer. We are recruiting for the 2nd or 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machines and a strong understanding of CNC machine processes or a vocational education in machining or metal trades. Training is conducted for one month on the 1st shift. Our client offers starting pay rates of $21 or more with candidates that are experienced at a higher level plus a $2.00 – $3.00 shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shift. A comprehensive benefits package that starts day one if also offered.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
• Read and interpret blueprints to understand product specifications
• Inspect finished products for quality and precision
• Maintain equipment in good condition by performing regular maintenance
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely completion of orders

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in operating CNC machines, particularly with Fanuc controls
• High School diploma or GED, Technical training/schooling considered in lieu of experience,
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints for machining parts preferred
• Experience with precision measuring instruments for quality control
• Good shop math skills
• Able to pass client’s pre-employment background check and drug screen.
