Emerge is currently seeking qualified candidates for a direct hire Industrial Maintenance Manager job in Bethlehem, PA for our client, a progressive manufacturer of quality products. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the manufacturing facility maintenance and repair, including skilled staff, outside contractors, and others. The Industrial Maintenance Manager position requires a strong hnads-on skill set in Electrical and Automation troubleshooting and repairs, including electrical controls and sensors (PLCs, etc.), hydraulics, pneumatics and more. You will lead a teams of skilled electro-mechanical technicians in a fast paced manufacturing department, Our client offers a base salary and comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities for the Industrial Maintenance Manager Job in Bethlehem, PA include:
- Services and maintains machines on site, including preventive maintenance, machine breakdowns are repaired, and a current and accurate record of maintenance are completed by team. Provides assurance that relevant machines, devices are updated according to company standards
- Ensures and reinforces the exercise of the Health and Safety Program
- Serve as the main contact of the Tech Integration Specialist to ensure machinery, devices and sensors are updated and configurated.
- Ensures a sound spare part and supplies warehouse and inventory.
- Manages contractors on site.
- Ensures all employees understand and follow company policies and procedures.
- Leading the skilled electro-mechanical Maintenance Team, including hiring, assessing training needs, ensures execution of training, provides an active personal development culture, performance management and more.
Education/Experience:
- Four year degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum four years of work experience in a similar industrial facility.
- Must have experience with Computer Control Systems on machines, PLCs, etc.
- Thorough understanding of technical aspects of different types of equipment
- Experience in working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Hands on experience running busy engineering department.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience
