Emerge is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a direct hire Maintenance Mechanic Job in Pompano Beach, FL for our client, a growing manufacturer. The Maintenance Mechanic will install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and piping and electrical systems in the plant. We are seeking candidates with three or more years of hands-on experience in Industrial Maintenance. Our client offers a competitive hourly salary of $25 per hour plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities for the Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Job in Pompano Beach, FL include:

• Performs various systems maintenance functions within the plant to insure that production personnel can produce a quality product while maintaining a high degree of safety . Reports to assistant Plant Manager/GM Essential Functions

Perform installations and maintenance on:

o Structural Component(s)

o Electrical System(s) – (110V, 220V,480V) Single and 3-PH)

o Plumbing system(s)

o Air compressor(s)

o Air Blower(s)

o Temperature Control System(s)

o Pump System(s)

o Chiller(s)

o HVAC System(s)

o Hoist System(s)

o Use Various hand and Power tools in a safe and efficient manner o Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts

o Follow the “Preventive Maintenance Program” diligently to reduce production downtime

o Non-safety Sensitive Position

Other Requirements:

• Able to read and write in the English Language
• Able to interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Able to lift up to 25lbs
• Vision that is correctable to at least 20/40 (Snellen Chart Standard)
• Exceptional MECHANICAL Aptitude
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• US Citizen (Due to ITAR)

Job Type: Full-time (Hours 6am – 3:30pm; Occasional Saturday mornings) M-F
