Emerge is seeking a highly
motivated and skilled Network Technician to join our client in Eatontown, NJ.
The Network Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing
network systems, advising on routing protocols, and providing technical support
to ensure the stability and performance of our clients’ networks.

Job Responsibilities  

  • Perform routine and proactive network maintenance to ensure
    the stability, security, and optimal performance of network systems
  • Advise on routing protocols and configurations to ensure
    efficient and reliable data transmission within networks
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate network traffic and system
    performance to determine the capacity and scalability requirements, making
    necessary recommendations for enhancements
  • Collaborate with the network architecture team to design,
    implement, and maintain network infrastructure solutions that align with clients’
    business needs and best practices
  • Provide technical support to clients, troubleshoot network
    issues, and assist in resolving network-related problems, ensuring minimal
    downtime
  • Maintain accurate records of network configurations, changes,
    and incidents.
      Create and update network
    documentation for reference and troubleshooting purposes
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining network security
    protocols and best practices to safeguard data and privacy
  • Keep up-to-date with emerging network technologies and
    trends, recommending relevant updates or improvements to the network
    infrastructure
     

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology
    or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience in network maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Strong knowledge of routing protocols and network architecture
  • Familiarity with network security practices and tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus

Work Environment
