Emerge is seeking an experienced Program Manager (PM)
to effectively manage the pricing and discounting Channel Partner incentives at
our Fortune 100 Technology client. The PM will have experience with Route-to-Markets,
partner models, analyze financial data, and understand the difference between
various buying tiers in a partner program. The PM will learn Client specific partner
pricing and discounting incentives to support growth. You will collaborate with internal and
external stakeholders including: Business Units, Finance, Partner Program Team,
Operations, Field Team, Strategic Partners, and other cross-functional teams
across the organization. The PM will
have solid business and program strategy, project management skills, excellent
problem-solving skills, and communication skills. You will provide Subject Matter Expertise in
designing global partner incentive programs and implementation across various
regions.

Job Responsibilities
- Act as liaison between GTM (Offers, Pricing, Strategy), Global
Partner Routes to Market Sales (GPRS) Programs - GPRS Program team lead on Product Cost Management (PCM)
pricing/programs initiatives from concept to completion adhering to policy,
structure, and compliance - Serve as subject matter expert in existing partner program
structure and strategy relating to PCM to develop forward thinking channels
approach - Consult with Channels/GTM, Sales, GPRS and Bus to evaluation
the long-term evolution of the partner program to enhance and align to routes
to market, offer requirements and consumption models for partner profitability,
and channel sales growth - Drive strategic alignment across GPRS programs, PCM pricing
strategies and traditional RTM initiatives to prevent channel conflict and
support partner differentiation - Reporting and metrics across program performance, partner
feedback, and specific initiatives - Develop and lead new pilot initiatives
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the clients’ goals and
can craft strategic and tactical plans on how the client partner program will
play a vital role - Able to collaborate across diverse
communities to gain consensus - Work on highly complex problems, gain insight into the
critical issues which are forefront in the minds of the executive leadership
team - You’ll have exposure to senior-level decision makers and
establish relationships with people across the entire organization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of meaningful experience in a Partner facing Program
Management strategy role - Deep understanding of Client products and services offerings
and channel go-to-market strategy - Proven strategic thinking, market analysis creative thought
leadership to make good decisions - Knowledge of pricing models, promotional discounting, and
partner margins requirements across, hardware, software, SaaS and Marketplaces
would be beneficial - Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to
persuasively create & deliver presentations to senior executives and
stakeholders within and beyond GPO organization - Strong people development and influencing skills; able to
build and drive direct, extended, and virtual teams…while working remotely - Strong writing, analytical and financial skills to work on
complex business issues - Ability to develop and present a compelling business case
- Strong communication skills, active listener, ability to
synthesize high level information - Ability to communicate strategy and concepts in a word format
document and power point for senior management & partners - Ability to extract key financial data to help guide pricing
and discounting recommendation - Ability to apply structured problem solving (taking a large,
complex problem and breaking it down into components, involve others as needed,
drive resolution) - Strong collaboration, influencing and facilitation skills
