Emerge is actively recruiting for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our client’s 3rd shift production operations. The Supervisor will provide leadership to a team of production employees engaged in the manufacturing process of our products. This position is expected to effectively manage labor resources, materials, and utilization of equipment to meet/exceed production goals and objectives. It is also necessary to maintain compliance with quality standards, GMP’s, SOPs in a safe and compliant manner.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate a diverse group of employees by promoting teamwork and continuous improvement to meet defined goals and objectives.
• Utilize performance tracking metrics to monitor performance and provides timely feedback to employees on opportunities and recognizes employees for excellence.
• Serve as communications liaison between employees and management staff/support groups.
• Responsible for time and attendance tracking
• Keeps management team abreast of significant issues or developments identified and actions being taken to improve the situation
• Report/Resolve employee related issues with Human Resources.
• Ability to work well with key support groups and to provide timely updates to management on key initiatives.
• Investigates and adjusts customer complaints regarding quality
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications/Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required, a Bachelor’s degree a plus
• 3 to 4 years of manufacturing experience with 2+ years manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Production Planning experience a plus
• Experienced in conflict resolution
• Excellent problem solving and negotiating skills
• Good communication (written & verbal) skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint etc.) skills and experience with ERP systems.

Hours will be 11:00 pm – 7:30 am, C shift. Sunday-Thursday

Environmental Factors:

Manufacturing environment which requires wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when performing specific functions. Exposure to fumes and airborne particles is moderate. Caustic chemicals, extreme heat and risk of electrical shock are present but low. The noise level in this environment is low to mid-range.
