Emerge is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a direct hire Quality Control Manager job in Pompano Beach, FL for our client, a manufacturer of quality products. The Quality Control Manager will oversee operational excellence and quality management in the company. The QCM will coordinate the activities of the quality department to maintain high-quality manufacturing, warehousing, and shipping facility of manufactured goods. The Quality Control Manager will develop and maintain continued compliance to the ISO 9001 quality management system, internal auditing, compliance, and record retention. This role requires working within all areas of the organization and installing a continuous improvement environment. Our client offers a base salary, excellent benefits package including bonus plan.

Responsibilities for the Quality Control Manager job in Pompano Beach , FL include:

• Inspection of customer hardware/parts before, in-process, post-process, final to ensure customer and quality standards are maintained and specifications requirements are met.

• Develop, Monitor, and use performance measures to promote continuous improvement.

• Maintain the Quality System (QMS) to insure retention of all industry accreditations, certifications, and customer approvals.

• Have the knowledge to USE and the understanding of Calipers, Micrometers, Thickness gages, Pin Gages, Telescope Gages etc.

Essential Functions:

• Interface with Customers as assigned • Perform and monitor (IA) Internal Audits

• Perform and monitor Supplier Audits

• Assist with Customer Quality Audits

• Help maintain and answer CAPA, SCAR’s – Corrective/Preventive Action Request

• Train Visual and Dimensional Inspectors on Quality Inspections and Measuring

• Read and understand industry and customer specifications and standards

• Read and understand basic Blueprint, Prints and GD&T • Working knowledge of Router(s), Work Instructions, Purchase Orders, etc.

• Create Quality Procedure(s) and Instructions

• Read, Validate, and record results of in-house Periodic Testing

• Be able to collect and analysis data from different areas of the plant.

• Recognize trends in the data to make decisions based on that analysis. Skills and Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Five (5) years or more of related experience or be trained by a person with a technical degree or Five (5) years of related experience or a manufacturer’s representative. • Basic computer skills

• Able to lift to 25lbs. Work in a Hot environment.

• Vision that is correctable to at least 20/40(SNELLEN Chart Standard)

• Reports to the General Manager

Salary: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
