Emerge is actively recruiting for a C Shift Saw Operator in Rochester, NY. Our client has been in business for decades and specializes in custom graphite solutions. This is a DIRECT HIRE JOB and will offer an hourly rate, overtime, excellent benefits, bonus, 401K and room for advancement. The Saw Operator will read blueprints or technical drawings and make the adjustments for each job. You need to be able to read a tape measure and perform basic math to set stops and guides to the specified length of each job. Saw Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate all models of Band Saws and become proficient in loading and unloading the machines as directed.
• Cut product within tolerance and squareness requirements.
• Read job routers, prints, and other procedural documents.
• Perform inspections.
• Maximize output for any given task(s).
• Work and effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors.

Qualifications:
• General Machining/Carpentry experience
